LOGISON focuses on the V4 countries and Austria and their need to cover trade routes with the Far East. For this region, we export and import resources essential for the diversification of the European economy.

LOGISON for the needs of the region

We are both a logistics and projection company. We provide transport and logistics projects for conventional and special goods transport, which are related to the needs of the Central European region.

Together with expert partners, we offer professional processing of shipping and energy projects related to waterways throughout Europe.

We offer transport of conventional goods in containers or non-traditional goods in ISO containers (e.g. coal, petroleum products, LNG). We combine mainly ship and rail transport. We limit the use of trucks to the so-called "last mile".

For the use of maritime transport, our main partner is the port of Constanta (RO). Constanta is connected to all land and water routes to central Europe. In addition to roads and railways, it offers a connection via the Danube river waterway, which has comparatively the greatest development potential for the region. Constanta's draught is also suitable for the largest container carriers.

Moving Europe closer to the Green Deal

Connecting the Port of Constanta to the transport will relieve congested Western European routes, allowing Europe to move closer to the Green Deal goals. Redirecting 1 million TEUs per year through the port of Constanta will result in a reduction of 1 100 000 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year. All this without investment, but with immediate effect and savings in transport costs.

About the port of Constanta

The Port of Constanta is a public-private seaport owned by the Romanian State. It is conveniently located on the pan-European Rhine-Danube transport corridor. Trade routes cross here, linking the markets of the landlocked countries of Central and Eastern Europe with the Transcaucasus, Central Asia and the Far East. Constanta is the shortest transport alternative to the centre of Europe.

We are preparing the construction of the MLC - Multimodal Logistics Centre, which is essential for the container logistics chain from Constanta. The container terminal will have the function of an intercontinental multimodal hub and will correspond to the new technologies of ISO container transport and servicing.
 

For the MLC project, we are consulting with partners to build in several locations on the Czech-Slovak border. Pending the selection of the most suitable site and the start of construction, we have concluded an agreement for the use of container service with the Port of Enns in Austria. The contractual hub at the port of Enns allows for the establishment of a regular container service between Constanta and Enns via the Danube and rail. At the same time, Enns offers quality container distribution to all important destinations in Central and Western Europe.

We are discussing support for the project with government representatives in the Czech Republic, Austria and Slovakia.

About the Port of Enns

The CTE Enns Container Terminal is a transport hub suitable for intermodal container transport. Enns has a modern logistics infrastructure with excellent rail and road connections, providing ideal conditions for supplying customers worldwide.

Virtual pipeline
A special technology for transporting LNG in ISO LNG containers that does not even need an LNG transshipment terminal in a seaport, nor does it need special LNG carriers.

 Assessment of options for connecting the Czech Republic to a consistent network of European waterways
The project summarises and mainly evaluates the possible connection of the Czech Republic to a consistent network of European waterways, including the parameters of individual options.

 Feasibility study of the connection of South Moravia to the Danube in Option D
The feasibility study elaborates in great detail and at a highly professional level the investment plan for the connection of the driest area in South Moravia and Záhorie to the Danube in the optimised Option D, which fully addresses also the water and energy functions of the water corridor (subsidies of Danube water to deficit areas, flood protection of the area and PVE in the route of the new waterway). The feasibility study can also be used to finance an international PPP project.

 Study and detailed analysis of the water transport situation in the Czech Republic in the context of past and current development of water transport and waterways in Europe
The assessment presents a very detailed analysis of the state of waterways and water transport in the Czech Republic, the reasons for the collapse of water transport in the Czech Republic, a comparison of the current trend in the development of water transport in Europe and proposals for solutions to reconnect water transport to the transport system in the Czech Republic and consequently to the European water transport system.

 Assessment of the use of the Chvaletice shipyard for the production of optimised push barges for the transport of standard ISO containers in the European waterways network
This is a pre-project preparation of optimal parameters of push barge for ISO containers including the possibility of their transport and use on the European waterways network.  

 Basic information on the transport of municipal waste and other waste materials along the Elbe-Vltava waterway to the Mělník incinerator
The study includes a proposal for the transport technology and a qualified estimate of volumes for the transport of MSW from Prague and other cities on the Labe-Vltava waterway to the MSW incinerator in Mělník using water transport.

 Monitoring of depths on the Elbe, Oder and Danube
Daily records of navigation depths in selected profiles of the Elbe, Oder and Danube waterways, processed into graphs.

We transport black coal via the classic route through Poland. For this purpose, we use rail and combined (rail/sea) transport. This is a temporary project designed to bridge the current difficult energy situation in Europe (since 2022).

In the spirit of our core business, we have also developed an alternative southern route via the port of Constanta. The new variant takes into account the losses in multiple coal transhipments and works with ISO open top containers. This technology is in trial shipment and will allow optimization of bulk material shipments for intermodal transport.
